Located halfway between California and Australia, French Polynesia is indeed heaven on earth.

French Polynesia consists of one hundred and eighteen different islands and atolls, spread over a vast area roughly the size of Europe.

As an overseas territory of France, French Polynesia is divided into five different groups of islands, the Society Islands, the Tuamotu Islands, the Austral Islands, the Gambier Islands, and the Marquesas Islands.
